Earl Scruggs - The Bluegrass Legend - Family & Friends (1972)

［ナッシュビル（米テネシー州）　28日　ロイター］　カントリー音楽の殿堂入りを果たしている米バンジョー奏者のアール・スクラッグス氏が28日、ナッシュビルの病院で死去した。88歳だった。

ブルーグラスの伝説的な演奏家であるスクラッグス氏は、グラミー賞も4度受賞。1967年のヒット映画「俺たちに明日はない」に使われた「フォギー・マウンテン・ブレイクダウン」などで知られる。

息子のゲーリーさんによると、スクラッグス氏は、しばらく前から健康の衰えが目立っていたという。
