ジョルジオ・モロダーがインタビューで、ランボー3でディランと仕事をしたかったと答えている

振り返ってみて、一緒に仕事をしてみたかった人はいますか?

GM：シルヴェスター・スタローンがランボー3を製作していた時、絶対的にボブ・ディランの歌を欲していた。自分も彼のようなレジェンドと仕事がしたいと思っていた。それで曲を書いた。シルヴェスターも気に入ってくれたので、その曲をディランに聞いて貰った。7～8回くらい聞いただろうか、最終的に彼は「No」と言った。理由はわからない…多分、映画か或いは歌に合っていなかったのだろう…しかし、この彼が一緒に仕事したかったアーティストの一人だ。その後、我々はその曲を絶対に使用しなかった。それは、映画の特定のシーン専用のものだった。よくある話しだ、まぁ … 彼が気に入らなかったんだから、曲が悪いということなんだろう。

ちなみに、こちらにフランク・ザッパがディランにジョルジオ・モロダーにバックトラックの外注を提案したと書かれている。

或いは、ザッパがモロダーをプロデューサーに推薦したとか…

Bob turned up at Frank's house, dressed in his shirt sleeves, on a cold winter's night, and played him some of the songs that would later form the "Infidels" album. (I often wonder if "Blind Willie McTell" was one of them - imagine Bob turning up at your house and delivering the premiere performance of that song for an audience of you alone. My spine is tingling.) Zappa was actually well up for producing the record, but wanted to bring in Donna Summer's producer Giorgio Moroder to record disco-flavoured backing tracks (which could have been either a genius touch or a truly horrible practical joke, I don't know). This suggestion didn't go down too well, and so Mark Knopfler was picked to produce instead (and created an extremely bland album in the process), except he wound up fighting Bob about it every inch of the way, to the point where all of the best songs got jettisoned. Mr Knopfler to this day finds the whole experience too disturbing to talk about.

FZ usually said "Wanna buy some acid, Bob?" during live performances of "Flakes". The switch to Keith Moon-endorsed "mandies" was a one-time only treat for a London performance.

Despite all of the above, I think Frank respected Bob a great deal. I certainly remember an interview where he gave "Like A Rolling Stone" the highest possible praise.

ついで、というか、まぁ、どーでも良い事だが、以前、クリス・ボッティとディランの関係がいまいちわからないと書いたが、それがわかった。まぁ、ずっと前にわかっていたが、ついでだ（笑）。で、結論から言えば、それはHearts of Fireだ（やっぱり…てか）。



Hearts of Fireのセッションは1986年8月にロンドンでクラプトン、ロン・ウッドなどが参加して行われる。

そこには、
[The Usual、Had A Dream About You, Baby] horns by The New West Horns dubbed on at a later occasion.
とある。

その New West Horns こそクリス・ボッティが参加していたグループだ。オーヴァーダブ（別録り）なので厳密に言えばアレだが、細かいことは言わない。それと彼は本編にもコルトバンドのメンバーとしてクレジットされている。

で、探して見たが多分これだろう、ほんの一瞬だけ登場している。
